What We Believe

Our faith is built on the solid foundation of God's Word. These core beliefs guide our church and shape our ministry to the community.

The Authority of Scripture

"All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness." - 2 Timothy 3:16

We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God, serving as our ultimate guide for faith, doctrine, and Christian living.

Our Core Beliefs

The Trinity

We believe in one God who exists eternally in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Each person of the Trinity is fully God, yet there is only one God. The Father is the source of all creation, the Son is our Savior Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit is our Comforter and Guide.

Salvation by Grace

We believe that salvation is a gift from God, received by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone. It is not earned by good works but is freely given to all who believe. Jesus Christ died on the cross for our sins and rose again, providing the only way to eternal life with God.

Biblical Baptism

We practice baptism by immersion as a public declaration of faith in Jesus Christ. Baptism is an outward symbol of the inward transformation that occurs when someone accepts Christ as their Savior. It represents dying to sin and rising to new life in Christ.

The Church

We believe the church is the body of Christ, composed of all believers who have been saved by grace through faith. The local church exists to worship God, build up believers, and reach the lost with the Gospel. Each member has a role to play in the life and ministry of the church.

Baptist Distinctives

Biblical Authority

The Bible is our sole authority for faith and practice. We believe in the priesthood of all believers, meaning every Christian has direct access to God through Jesus Christ.

Autonomy of the Local Church

Each local church is independent and self-governing under the lordship of Jesus Christ. We make decisions through congregational participation and biblical leadership.

Believer's Baptism

We practice baptism by immersion for believers who have made a personal decision to follow Jesus Christ. Baptism is a public testimony of faith and obedience to Christ's command.

Religious Liberty

We believe in the freedom of conscience and the separation of church and state. Every person has the right to worship God according to their own convictions.

Our Statement of Faith

We believe in the verbal inspiration and authority of the Scriptures. We believe that the Bible reveals God, the fall of man, the way of salvation, and God's plan and purpose in the ages.

We believe in the Godhead: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe in the deity, virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, vicarious death, bodily resurrection, ascension to the right hand of the Father, and personal return of Jesus Christ.

We believe that all men are sinners and can be saved only by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. We believe in the eternal security of the believer.

We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost: the saved unto eternal life and the lost unto eternal punishment.
